Now in my mid 50’s, I’ve had an interest in property since my late teens when I refurbished my first flat with my dad. He had started as a plumber when that meant wiping lead joints. He joined Arup in 1970 where he rose to senior engineer and stayed until retirement. He taught me most of what I know.
After college I studied beer and electronic engineering during an apprenticeship with Marconi Defence Systems in Stanmore.
Inevitably over the years I slid back into property which I really enjoy and one way or another I’ve been a general builder for over 30 years.
Over that time I have built entire houses and also done all manner of refurbishments. I have decided to specialise in a number of “products” now including the various types of insulation and also loft boarding and refurbishment of lofts into “cleaner spaces”.
We are a small team of two people and I am assisted now by Jack Lawns who studied engineering and specialist metal fabrication and has now re trained in carpentry.
We offer an intelligent approach to our range of services which I believe you will find unrivalled in our industry in the domestic market.

- Mike has just done an incredible job renovating our 1970’s house. It was a total refurbishment top to bottom including ripping out all the old kitchen / bathroom / bedrooms / doors. He re insulated the shell with underfloor and internal wall insulation. The heating system was re built with modern radiators and a mega flow system resulting in a brilliant shower. He installed brand new bathrooms and a new kitchen. The whole place has a fantastic feel about it now.
